What does Covenant Membership at SLF look like?

The following is the current membership process at SLF:

Step 1: Membership Information Class - This is a class all prospective members must go through to learn more about the church, and take part in a Q&A session.

Step 2: Application for membership (see below)

Step 3: Elder Interview

Step 4: Covenant Member Vote - The final step is that our current Covenant Members will vote on your membership, and you will sign the membership covenant. Once approved, you will be a Covenant Member with SLF Longview. All Covenant Members age 16 and above are considered Voting Covenant Members.

Connecting During the Membership Process

During this time, you’ll be considered a prospective member, and we encourage you to start building relationships and getting involved in the life of the church.

A simple first step is to sign up for our announcement and prayer text services, which will keep you updated with reminders, upcoming events, and prayer needs. To be added, please contact Krista Arredondo at 903.353.0232 or Krista@slflongview.com.

Once the membership process is complete, you’ll have the opportunity to serve in various ministries. In the meantime, begin praying and learning about where you might serve and get plugged in.
