What does Covenant Membership at SLF look like?
The following is the current membership process at SLF:
Membership Information Class - This is a class all prospective members go through to learn more about the church, and take part in a Q&A session.

Elder Interview
Covenant Member Vote - The final step is that our current Covenant Members will vote on your membership, and you will sign the membership covenant. Once approved, you will be a Covenant Member with SLF Longview. All Covenant Members age 16 and above are considered Voting Covenant Members.
During this process you will be considered a prospective member and we encourage you to begin connecting with the church.
One way to connect with the church is to get signed up for our announcement text service and a prayer text service. This will allow you to receive important reminders, announcements, and prayer request via text message. Please contact Pastor Lucas to sign up for this service.
After the membership process is complete, you will be able to plug in and serve, so we encourage you to begin praying and asking questions about possible opportunities to serve during your "prospective member" stage.
