Keith Wilkerson
Keith joined the leadership team of Sovereign Life Fellowship in January of 2019, and hopes to serve many more years helping lead the body of believers at SLF! Keith comes to SLF with over 35 years of full time church/worship ministry experience in the greater East Texas area.
Keith is married to Debbie who is a retired music teacher. They have been married 49 years and make their home in Liberty City. They have two grown children; daughter Jennifer sings on the worship team at FBC Kilgore and their son Jeremy is a Worship Pastor in Mesquite, Texas. They also have six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Keith’s heartbeat/desire is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. His passion is being with and leading a group of people who are singing praises to the Lord with all their hearts - for ultimately worship is always about the heart.
Keith enjoys spending time with his wife & family. When Keith is not working or spending time with his family, you’ll probably find him writing music or watching his favorite sports team, the Texas Rangers.
Keith serves as the Associate Pastor of Sovereign Life Fellowship in Longview and is responsible for the following:
Leading in all areas of worship for the church, including Sunday morning worship services, special music events, worship team development, and worship team practice.
Leading in all areas of senior adult ministry.
Provides Elder oversight of the Worship Team.
Preaches and teaches as assigned by the Lead pastor.
Leads in other areas as assigned by the Lead Pastor and/or the Executive Pastor.
Assist in congregational care as needed.
