“He told the crowd to sit down on the ground. When he had taken the seven loaves and given thanks, he broke them and gave them to his disciples to distribute to the people, and they did so. 7 They had a few small fish as well; he gave thanks for them also and told the disciples to distribute them. 8 The people ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.” - Mark 8, Jesus feeding the 4,000

The Leftovers is a group of women from the surrounding Longview community who commit to: give, pray, and serve. Members of The Leftovers are a part of “pods” made up of 7-10 women with one Pod Leader.

Members give financially by donating $84 three times a year at a luncheon dedicated to update members on all God has been doing in and through Graciously Broken. Members pray for Graciously Broken with requests communicated regularly through GroupMe and their Pod Leaders. Members serve by investing in our residents and staff in various ways. Many members give of the time and talents by transporting residents to and from appointments, mentoring, and advocating for Graciously Broken in their friends, family, and church communities.

We would love to build this group to bring transformation to countless lives through Graciously Broken. Please call or email Samantha Melville with any additional questions about the commitment of joining The Leftovers. 302-268-4952, samantha@graciouslybroken.com

“His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge;  and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” - 2 Peter 1:3-8
